Testimonials/Past Clients
We’ve been having guests stay at Villa Loma Sol for nine years… below is a small sampling of some of the feedback we have received from the guest books….
12/23/07 – This was a magical place for our whole family to celebrate Christmas together. We swam, hiked, ate, drank, laughed and loved every minute! We came from Chicago, St. Paul, and Brooklyn and would definitely come again!
2/20-29/07 – What a find. The villa quickly became home to 6 adults from Southern Georgia. The heart of the house quickly became the patio… many long hours of domino games were played while enjoying the views and quiet showers. If the patio is the heart of the house… Carmen is the soul! She is priceless.
3/8-12/07 – The most relaxing place on earth! Our time spent here was so peaceful and relaxing. The rainforest is an amazing experience and suggest it as a must see! To truly enjoy this awesome place you should embrace the Puerto Rican life style. The people, food and nature are all so unique and special. This is the perfect house, so be adventurous and live in every moment spent here!
3/21/08 – We all loved the house, very beautiful. A good relaxing time with friends for the weekend. We enjoyed all the rooms and the amenities… thanks a lot!
4/18-21/08 – A Fantasy! The most incredible place for a wedding and long weekend. So grateful to Carmen and the wonderful service. We loved the entire experience and what the home offers – pictures don’t do it justice.
This was wonderful! I would love to come back every year if I could. I had my dream wedding here. Everything was so amazing and we will never forget this place and our time here at Loma Sol!
5/21-28/08 – Ladies Who Travel: Puerto Rico 2008: This was a beautiful vacation experience for 11 ladies from all over the US. Thank you to both Carmens for taking care of us. This has been a fabulous trip and we definitely will be coming back. God has added His special touch to this land.
6/21-28/08 – This was a wonderful opportunity for parents, children, grandchildren, and siblings to spend time together. What an experience! The pool and hot tub were a great way to end each day. We visited the rainforest and hiked to the falls for a swim and made it to the peak. Additionally, both Carmen’s are wonderful resources for help and information, particularly Carmen Delia who we got accustomed to seeing every morning. She is very warm and personable. For those of you initially skeptical about the “Mango Room” = enjoy it! It is cool at night and the jungle noises and adventure ad to the romantic ambiance.
10/3-5/08 – Even though I live in Puerto Rico I saw this house and I decided I had to come for a stay. It is breathtaking relaxing and charming. We enjoyed a wonderful 1st anniversary hidden away in our country’s mountains. We came ready to stay and not leave once in the whole weekend and did so. My best advice would be to check everything before you go shopping. We came with our groceries just to find that many things were here already – spices and small miscellaneous that you need not purchase. Carmen was great, very friendly and since we cooked everything here it was luxurious not having to do dishes. Our favorite shower was the 2 head one outside with the small terrace. I can sincerely say we loved our romantic getaway. We leave ready to start our second year of marriage truly recharged and relaxed.
4/7-13/09 – I found this place on the internet and the photos didn’t do it justice. I couldn’t have asked for a better more relaxing place to stay. We got married at Hacienda Siesta Alegre and this was the perfect place to stay. Hours were spent on the hammocks looking at the view. Breakfast was had at the table outside every morning, there’s no better way to start the day. If possible I would love to come back every year to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to everyone involved to make this place my new favorite place.
